Care Guide
Clothing & Accessories Care
Silk Dresses & Tunics:
Dry Clean Only as per our care label.
Silk is a delicate fabric and care should be taken when wearing to avoid damage. When wearing be careful to avoid direct contact with watches or sharp jewellery that may catch or cause pulls in the fabric, as we cannot be held responsible for snags or catches caused by undue care or attention caused by the wearer.
Aviod direct contact with water or moisture as this may mark your silk.
Recyled Silk Sari Range:
Hand wash in cold water, using a non-bio liquid or powder. Dilute the liquid in the water, and gently wash.
Do not soak silk, we recommend dipping into 100% cold water, remove excess water and hang dry immediately.
Avoid direct sunlight. Reshape whilst damp. Do not rub stains.
Gently iron using a low setting only, for delicate silks. Test before on the inside first to check the temperature & use a clean white towel if you are unsure if your steam iron is clean. Or use a home hand steamer.
Jewellery Care
To keep your jewellery looking its best, please avoid contact with harsh products such as nail polish removers, perfume and hairspray. Only use chemical products such as hairspray and perfume before putting on jewellery – never spray when you are wearing your jewellery.
Never go swimming in your jewellery, chlorine in swimming pools can cause damage. Avoid wearing your jewellery in the shower/bath.
Avoid any cleaning or chemical products – we would recommend you remove your jewellery when house cleaning and in the kitchen/garden etc
Cleaning
To brighten up your silver or gold pieces jewellery can be cleaned with a silver cloth or warm soapy water. Please do not use a dip if the jewellery contains gemstones.
Storing your jewellery
Over time, any sterling silver jewellery piece exposed to air will tarnish.
Therefore it is important to always store your sterling silver jewellery in a cool, dark place away from sources of sunlight, heat and moisture.
All of our jewellery comes in a either a pouch or jewellery box, which can be used to store your jewellery. Always keep each item of jewellery separate in their own pouch/box to avoid any scratching. Avoid direct sunlight.
Our larger necklaces and bracelets are best stored flat in their provided box or a box of your own choice.
